Isidora Rentzika (b. 1990) focuses on existential issues and universal emotions such as fear, anger, insecurity and the constant anxiety of deconstructing and redefining identity. Her influences from the Existentialists, Game Theory but, also, from the observation of modern everyday life, lead her to the composition of ambiguous images and short stories, moving around the concepts of irony, cynicism and the absurd, with a sense of mockery.  In these stories, the need for escape and the possibility of a plot twist are always present. She seeks to capture that moment when the figures experience dilemma, risk, guilt and, perhaps, the transition to a new state. She lives and works in Thessaloniki, Greece.
